Who We Are
Moncur Health Services is a veteran-focused healthcare and clinical assessment provider working to improve outcomes for Australian veterans.
Built with veterans, for veterans, Moncur is led by a mix of ex-service members and experts in veteran health. We understand the exposures that come with service and the realities of military life. We know that military service can have lasting physical, psychological and social impacts that require specialised knowledge and experience to assess properly, allowing us to deliver care that is informed, practical and tailored to the defence community.
Our growing team of doctors and healthcare professionals provides specialised healthcare and assessments designed to bridge the gap between service-related experiences and the support available to those who have served. By combining clinical expertise with a genuine understanding of military life, we help people access the treatment, services and recognition they deserve.
We work with current and former ADF personnel across Australia through both telehealth and in-person services. Wherever you are, getting started is as simple as a phone call. Most importantly, we stay with you throughout the journey.
We don't disappear once the assessment is complete or the referral is made - we're committed to supporting you from the first conversation through to the outcomes that matter.
How We Work
1. Initial Consultation & Care Planning
We begin with a comprehensive consultation to understand your service history, current health concerns, existing diagnoses, treatment needs, and goals. Together, we develop a clear plan for your healthcare, whether that involves ongoing treatment, chronic disease management, mental health support, specialist referrals, Veterans' Health Checks, or DVA-related assistance.
2. Reviewing Your Service and Health History
We conduct a detailed review of your medical records, service history, and current health concerns to identify conditions that may be related to your service. Many veterans are unaware of the full range of conditions that may be connected to their military service or the support available to them.
Every service-related condition deserves recognition. Whether a condition is already documented in your records or not, we help identify what may be connected to your service, what evidence may be needed, and what options are available moving forward.
3. Treatment & Specialist Care
Treatment shouldn't have to wait until a claim is finalised. We help you understand what treatment and support may already be available through your White Card, Gold Card, or other entitlements, and connect you with the right providers as early as possible.
Where required, we coordinate referrals, specialist appointments, imaging, investigations, and allied health services to ensure you receive timely access to appropriate care.
4. Assessments and Evidence
When further evidence or specialist assessments are required, we coordinate the process from start to finish. This may include specialist referrals, diagnostic testing, imaging or functional assessments.
Our team helps ensure the right information is gathered, the right clinicians are involved, and that assessments accurately reflect your health conditions, service history, and their impact on your daily life.
5. Ongoing Support
Our involvement doesn't end once a referral is made or a report is completed. We continue supporting veterans throughout their healthcare journey, helping them understand available treatment options, entitlements, and next steps both while matters are in progress and after they are finalised.
